I was raised in Northern Virginia in a pet-loving family so animals have always been integral to my life. I became a veterinarian out of a desire to help improve the lives of our voiceless, furry companions and to strengthen the human-animal bond through education and progressive medicine. Since my graduation from Virginia Tech in 2008, I’ve developed strong medical, surgical, and dental expertise in practices that emphasized high-quality medicine and customer service. Relief work offers me the unique opportunity to offer my dynamic skills to a variety of staff and clients across the Washington metropolitan area. I look forward to caring for your patients in your absence.
Because I believe work-life balance is important for a vet’s success, I do my best to maximize my free time. I particularly enjoy hiking and traveling with my husband Ken and our rescue mutts (Annabelle and Pablo). I also love boxing, baking, knitting, and giving endless affection to our rescue tabbies (Stella, Princess Diana, Paloma, and Seattle).
